Meet Our Founding Advisor

Sam Korn | Senior AI/ML Engineer

Founding Member

Sam has over seven years of experience designing and deploying production machine learning systems in healthcare and medical technologies. Most recently, he led ML development at AcuityMD, a Series C startup powering medical device commercialization with healthcare data and AI. Previously at PrecisionGx, he built large-scale fraud detection systems for health insurance and published research on novel approaches to embedding medical claims data.

Sam holds a BA in Philosophy of AI from the University of Pennsylvania, where his thesis explored theoretical extensions to foundational models of machine learning and inductive reasoning. His background bridges applied ML engineering with a deep interest in AI safety, ethics, and the philosophical foundations of intelligent systems.
